“Ornaments by Kids” 2010
THE HOLIDAYS AT THE MUSEUM 2010 “ORNAMENTS BY KIDS”
The Eureka Springs Historical Museum will be holding its 2nd annual “Ornaments by Kids” contest. All Eureka Springs students, grades 1 through 6, are invited to help decorate the museum this Holiday Season by making an ornament to hang on its tree.
The handmade ornaments should not exceed 6” x 6” x 6” in size and can be made from any non-perishable material and should not be too heavy to hang on the tree. Entries must be delivered to the museum on or by November 23rd. Applications are available at the Museum and at local schools.
A reception for all the young artists who participate will be held in the parlor of the museum on Friday, December 3rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. preceding the Christmas Parade. There will be a People’s Choice Award with a prize for the winner and awards for 2nd and 3rd place and also honorable mention. Everyone is invited to attend, meet the artists, and vote for, and maybe purchase their favorite entry. Refreshments will be served.
